Remove backgrounds and more – free, in your browser
Backgrounds, objects, watermarks, metadata, PDF pages and text. No AI, no upload.
How it works
Cut out backgrounds, paint away objects, strip metadata from photos and documents, and clean up PDFs and text. Everything runs on your device with classic algorithms – no AI, no upload.
- Open a file: Drop it or pick it. It stays on your device.
- Remove what you do not need: Pick a mode and fix details with a brush.
- Download the result: PNG, clean PDF, document or text.
Why this remover
- Private: Files are processed on your device and never uploaded.
- No AI: Classic algorithms – fast, predictable and honest about their limits.
- Free, no watermark: No account needed. Results carry no watermark or metadata.
- Pro for volume: 40 MP images, batches of 50 files and an HTTP API.
Works great
- Product photos on white or studio backgrounds
- Logos, icons, signatures and scans
- Green and blue screen
- Small objects, date stamps and thin text
Works poorly
- Hair or fur against a busy background
- Subject and background of the same colour
- Large objects in detailed scenes
- Watermarks tiled across the whole photo
Everything you can remove
32 focused tools in five groups. Each one runs locally in your browser.
- Background: Cut out, make transparent, recolor or blur.
- Objects and text: Paint over it – the spot fills from around.
- Metadata: Hidden EXIF, GPS and author data.
- PDF: Pages, blank pages and hidden extras.
- Text: Tidy up lines, spaces and characters.
Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Every tool works free of charge in your browser, without an account and without watermarks. A free account raises the limits; Pro adds large images, big batches and the API.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Images, PDFs, documents and texts are processed on your device. Only the optional paid API sends files to our server, where they are processed in memory and not stored.
Why no AI?
Classic algorithms run fast on any computer without downloading large models and keep your files private. The trade-off: complicated photos need a few brush strokes.
Which files are accepted?
JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF and BMP images, PDF files, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OpenDocument files, and plain text. SVG is not accepted for security reasons.
